American Bogan™ may be unrefined apparel for unrefined tastes, but that does not mean we cut corners on our products and social responsibilities! We’ve selected our supply and fulfillment vendors because of their commitments to their employees, environmental stewardship, and production quality.

Our Current Vendors:
Dreamhost
Dreamhost hosts Americanbogan.com‘s domain name and website. Dreamhost is committed to reducing their environmental impact through LEED Platinum and EnergyStar-certified offices, data centers that are powered by grids that obtain electricity from many renewable sources, and supporting employees with “generous” work from home policies. “Green” claims are always hard to quantify but, as an independent webhost, we’re comfortable supporting Dreamhost (Affiliate Link) instead of the EIG portfolio of companies. Their customer support team has been top notch since day one.
Printful
Every item you order from us — and we thank you! — comes from Printful (Affiliate Link), our product fulfillment vendor. Printful’s fulfillment centers are located globally and are managed with strong commitments to their workers and environmental responsibility. Employees enjoy healthcare, PTO, and a safe and respectful work environment. There may be less expensive fulfillment vendors; however, it is our opinion that there aren’t any better than Printful.
Printing Technology
The printer and ink technologies Printful currently uses to fulfill your orders are:
- Kornit series printers and inks for DTG apparel
- Happy and Tajima embroidery machines for hats
- MS printers and inks for all-over print products
- Mimaki inkjet printers for sublimation products
- Mimaki UV printers and inks for phone cases
- Epson series printers and inks for wall art
- SubliJET HD ink for mugs
- Gravotech machines for engraving
Bella+Canvas
Bella+Canvas manufactures our Women’s Relaxed, Premium Short-Sleeve Unisex, Small Framed Women’s Crop, Unisex Tank Top, Unisex Muscle, and Unisex Long-Sleeve t-shirts. Their United States production and office locations have received Platinum accreditation from the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), a designation that signifies high standards for human resources management, health and safety standards, environmental and eco-friendly practices, and legal compliance including import and export customs. Read more about Bella+Canvas.
Next Level Apparel
Another apparel brand that is known for their WRAP Certified factories, and because of their strong commitment to high standards and social responsibility, including the rights of workers to organize. Next Level manufactures our Fitted Men’s T-shirt.
Tultex Apparel
Tultex makes our raglan 3/4 sleeve baseball t-shirts. From Tultex’s website, their “manufacturing facility is 4-Pillar SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) certified. The four pillars are Labor Standards, Health and Safety, Business Ethics and The Environment.” They are committed to Ethical Trade, Reduced Water Waste, Renewable and Natural Materials, and reducing their carbon footprint.
On a lighter note, we found it amusing that Tultex is running their website on Squarespace.
Gildan Apparel
To be honest, we held off on Gildan Apparel for a while now due to a history of poor practices. This includes multiple brands owned by Gildan such as Anvil, American Apparel, and others. Recently, Gildan has taken a hard look at their responsibilities as a global manufacturer, and committed themselves to improving conditions for their workers including fair compensation, health and safety of workers, respecting the rights of workers to freely associate and collectively bargain, and more. Is it full of corporate-speak? Absolutely. For now, we’re willing to give Gildan a chance as the manufacturer of our Basic Unisex T-shirt.
Alternative Apparel
A brand recently acquired by Haynes, Alternative Apparel pledges to take their social responsibilities seriously. As a global manufacturer, Alternative Apparel is committed to reducing their environmental impact. While most of their facilities are WRAP certified, all of them adhere to Fair Labor Association guidelines. Additionally, all of Haynes owned companies and brands are Fair Labor Association Accredited, and Haynes has been recognized among the world’s most ethical companies of 2021. Alternative Apparel manufactures our cap-sleeve tank top t-shirt.

About our current webhost
In case you’re curious, this website is hosted by DreamHost, Adrian’s current favourite favorite webhosting provider, on their dedicated WordPress plan: DreamPress (Affiliate Link).
Adrian chose them after leaving Shopify and comparing different WordPress hosting plans on Hostgator, SiteGround, InMotion Hosting, and Pressable among several others (also, for a variety of reasons, I absolutely refuse to touch GoDaddy –Adrian).
His photography website is also hosted under a second DreamPress plan after he decided to migrate it away from Squarespace.
There are other webhosts that may be much faster performing; however, DreamHost has been the right combination of stability, price, storage, un-metered bandwidth, expertise, and support for us. Americanbogan.com is fast enough, stable, runs smoothly, and is consistently responsive. Adrian’s been very happy with them for a couple of years, now!
(Seriously, I can’t complain at all! –Adrian)
Bottom line:
If you’re looking for a good webhost, please consider DreamHost (Affiliate Link).
